ADOPTED!! Roy & Rodgers - Brothers

Just in this past weekend are Roy & Rodgers, two orange short haired tabbies.  They were both bottle babies and are very social, curious and playful.  They are about 6 months old.  They are not sure why they ended up back in the shelter by their foster mom.  They were there for 2 months, but now they are in good care and will be getting adopted out, hopefully, together!  They love people!

BABY BOO ~ March 17, 2012

BABY BOO seemed today to be comfortable without his heavy duty pain patch and enjoyed a lazy Saturday.  Each day, he seems to be getting stronger and moving around more.  I still have to be careful as his leg is still broken, but each day he seems to be a little bit better.  He even started making little meows today.

Glad you are feeling better BOO!  I don't even think he cares that he's wearing doggie t-shirts, one to cover his incision area and one to cover his back where the patch was.  Super Cute!!

DESIREE ~ My Semi-Feral Project

DESIREE is a 8 month old kitten that is semi-feral.  She is coming a long nicely and loves to play.  Soon it will be her turn to be up for adoption, but in the mean time, she is safe and enjoying life... DESIREE is a very pretty kitty!  She was rescued from the Berkeley Animal Services.  One day, she will make someone a very sweet kitty!

Baby Boo Recovering

Looking handsome in GREEN!!  Please send good thoughts and prayers for his speedy recovery, from a surgery that was a mistake by the vet.  So not COOL!!

BABY DOLL is now BABY BOO!!!

BABY BOO, aka, BABY DOLL, went in for hip/leg surgery yesterday, however, his leg might be healing on it's own, second opinion will be required, so they went to do the spay surgery (standard) and didn't bother to do a physical examination to sex the kitten and after they had her open and starting looking around, did they notice that it was a boy kitten.  So now BABY BOO, is recovering from his neuter surgery, as well as, his tummy being open, so he has a huge wound to recover from.  Please join me in saying a PRAYER for his speedy recovery with less pain, for us to figure out if there is anything else wrong with him and to understand more what is needed for his leg/hip.  THANK YOU!  Everyone's generosity for a little, before unwanted, homeless, abandoned, kitten is WONDERFUL!

I just wanted to thank everyone that is donating to help pay for Baby Doll's Surgery. It is scheduled for next Tuesday, March 13. After she recovers, Baby Doll will be up for adoption. BABY DOLL Needs Surgery for Broken Hip / Leg

Baby Doll's Medical Update: Felv/Fiv tested negative; She has femoral neck fracture left back leg; Diagnostics: latreal reveals nsf; vd reveals mid shaft femoral neck fracture on left with femoral head seated in acentabulum.

Recommended Surgery: FHO (Femoral Head Ostectomy) at time of Spay.  Dr. Boltz said it was a common, straight forward surgery.

Estimate for both: $900-$1000

Baby Doll's Background: She was left at a rental apartment in Susanville, and was then turned into the shelter.  Her shelter paperwork documented that she had a limp on her back left leg.  She is only about 6 months old.  Ragdoll, Chocolate color, very sweet, little shy.

If anyone has any advice or recommendation, any info/feedback is greatly appreciated.

BABY DOLL's FHO Surgery

ADOPTED!! MERCEDES, DECLAWED Gray & White Long Haired Gorgeous Kitty, Needs FUR-ever Home!!

Mercedes, a 1 1/2 year old, declawed, long haired, gorgeous, gray and white female kitty is looking for her FUR-ever home. Just rescued from Kern County this weekend. She is so tender and sweet with such a soft, dramatic long haired coat. She had a check up yesterday and was found to be declawed. She is spayed and up to date on shots and microchipped. She has a little voice and loves human attention. She may not be good with other cats, since she is unsure and declawed. She will need routine brushing, as her silky fur gets tangled.

Adorable BABY DOLL!!

Baby Doll was one of the kitties that arrived this past weekend.  She is about 6 month old and just the most adorable little doll.  The minute you pick her up, she starts to purr and turns over for you to rub her tummy.  Her shelter listing said that she limped on one of her back legs.  Once safe at my home, I started to observe her and it seems as if she doesn't want to sit on her haunches, her back legs slide out from under her, so she ends up sitting on her side.  Something is not right here, so tomorrow we have vet appointment and will get some x-rays to figure out what is really going on.  I hope it turns out to be something that we can deal with.  Once we get her all "good to go," hopefully, we can find her a FUR-ever home.  She is just the sweetest thing!  Baby Doll's fur, is like a powder puff, and it is sable black in color.  What a CUTIE!

ADOPTED!! Big Gorgeous Maine Coon Brothers, FRITZ & FLOYD, Need FUR-ever Home!

These two gorgeous big Maine Coon Brothers, Fritz and Floyd, just got rescued and arrived yesterday from Red Bluff. They are 3 years old and were given to the shelter by their owner, who couldn't take care of them any more. One is more outgoing than the other, and they are just both so strikingly beautiful. Big, long haired Maine Coons!

Lucy, the long haired lilac point Ragdoll, just rescued and arrived yesterday from a shelter in Shasta Lake City. She is an adorable, affectionate, sweet kitty. KHLOE' for Adoption - Special Needs Kitty

We also have beautiful, Khloe', a Maine Coon kitty.  She's on the petite side, and has a gorgeous coat of medium to long carmel brown hair, with a huge fluffy tail.  She makes little chirp noises, instead of a regular meow.  She tends to be on the shy side, however, lately, she wants to talk to you and has been more outgoing.  Khloe' was rescued from a local high-kill shelter and FIV+.  She doesn't let her FIV+ affect her, as she lives with my other kitties and loves them all.  She is a cuddle kitty, a lap cat!  Khloe' is a big lover.  Hopefully, one day she will find her FUR-ever home, but until them she will be safe with me.  Khloe' is available for adoption.

Adoption #7 MORRISEY

Looks like Morrisey will get adopted this weekend and go to his FUR-ever home.  He will be joining another kitten, Simba, that looks just like him.  I am sure they will soon be buddies and will love to play with each other.  Morrisey, had a tough start, as I rescued him and he had this on-going URI cold, that wouldn't go away.  Once he started feeling better, he ate, and ate.  He was so skinny in the beginning, now, he has a cute round tummy.

BENTLEY for Adoption

We can't forget my cutie pie, Bentley...he's available for adoption as well...here's his ad description...

Just rescued Bentley from a local high kill shelter. He is super cute and super fluffy!! Bentley is only about 5 months old. He will grow up to be a large kitty. He has a little one sided milk mustache, that is just adorable! He is sweet and affectionate, likes to purr, but can be a little shy. He might just be scared in a new environment, but he will need someone with patience and someone that will work with him to become confident. He loves to curl up next to you while you watch tv. Since I don't know what his past is, we just need to keep letting him know that he is loved, so he will be able to trust easier. He loves being with other kitties. He is very quiet and very sweet. For some reason, he lost the tip of his tail :(

 Bentley is neutered, microchipped, combo tested negative, defleaed, dewormed and ready to go to his new home.
